Opto-Réseau is proud to support the Fondation des maladies de l’œil dedicated to a mission of research, promotion and awareness-raising. Officially recognized by the FRSQ and IRSC, the organization is the only foundation in Québec to allocate its financial resources to eye health research. The foundation launched the Participe pour voir promotional program for less fortunate families with a tour of elementary schools across Québec. To date, a hundred schools were visited and 36,000 families in Québec were made aware of the importance of having their children’s eyes examined. Thanks to partners to the campaign, a thousand children received free eyeglasses.
